Why People Fail
In 2016, the cognitive-studies researcher Xiaodong Lin-Siegler of Columbia University’s
Teachers College published a study that found that high-school students’ science grades
improved after they learned about the personal and intellectual struggles of scientists including
Einstein and Marie Curie. Students who only learned about the scientists’ achievements saw their
grades decline. People Fail due to lack of Persistence in what they do. I am sure you’ll agree with
me. One of the most crucial reasons people fail is that they give up too soon. Money obsession:
Building your life around the accumulation of money will lead to misery rather than happiness.
Build your life around relationships, community, and serving others.
We tend to follow trends of things happening around us without focusing on our strength and what are
passionate about. People with vision don’t follow trends, they Create the trends overtime. people fail not
because they lack Knowledge or talent but because they just quit. It is important to remember two word:
persistence and resistance. Persist In what must be done and resist what ought not to be done.
“Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close
they were to success when they gave up.” – Thomas Edison
The Story of Thomas Edison inspires always. Chances are you have heard of Edison in relation to
overcoming failure before. He was a master of trial and error. Someone who wasn't afraid to make lots of
mistakes in order to succeed.
Your ability to be persistence brings your close to many opportunities.
Try new approaches. Persistence is important, but repeating the same actions over and over again, hoping
that this time you’ll succeed, probably won’t get you any closer to your objective. Look at your previous
unsuccessful efforts and decide what to change. Keep making adjustments and midcourse corrections,
using your experience as a guide.
People who lack conviction take the middle of the road. But what happens in the middle of the road? You
get run over. People without conviction go along to get along because they lack confidence and courage.
They conform in order to get accepted, even when they know what they are doing wrong.
Decide what is important to you. If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right and doing well. Let
your passion show even in mundane tasks. It’s OK to collaborate and cooperate for success, but it’s not
Ok to compromise your values.
Don’t Give UP!
