Job Summary: This role is responsible for providing financial management services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations through budget development and implementation as well as general financial support.

Key Result Areas:

1. Account Management:

- Monthly accounts statement reconciliation, accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Follow up on debtors and creditors and reconcile company accounts.

- Prepare invoices and receipts for clients.

- Assist with payment upload to vendors via online banking platforms

- Petty cash account management

- Management and analysis of employee expenses

2. Budget Preparation and Implementation

- Budget preparation for financial year.

- Budget monitoring and quarterly reporting

3. Business Administration

- Payroll preparation and administration.

- Prepare payment vouchers and ensure all supporting document are attached

- Carry out cash reconciliations when necessary

- Record revenue, expenses, etc.

- Maintain organized and detailed filing system for financial transactions

- Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

- Make and implement recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.

4. Financial Reporting

- Preparation of profit and loss, financial statements on individual projects along with the project team

- Monthly management report

5. Organizational Tax Management

- Calculating and reconciling income tax payments of all employees to ensure adherence with National Taxation Legislation.

- Forecasting, calculating and ensuring payment of corporate tax in adherence to National Taxation Legislation

- Ensure all statutory payments are made before due dates and perform every other tasks as assigned

6. The Person

- Minimum academic qualification of a B.Sc, Higher National Diploma (HND) or Ordinary National Diploma in Accountancy

- 1-3 years relevant experience in book keeping or Accounting

- Proficiency in Microsoft office software usage

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of Peach tree or Sage Accounting is a must.
