Position Summary:
Plans, implements, and executes successful consumer and trade marketing programs on behalf of the brand (including brand strategic planning, market positioning, pricing, promotion, advertising).
Key Responsibilities: Core responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
1. Create and implement brand strategy, including the setting of brand guidelines, brand vision, and value proposition for the short as well as long term.
2. Take a lead in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and brand plans
3. Guide the day-to-day execution of the marketing and/or brand plan.
4. Set and administer an annual marketing budget.
5. Oversee the execution of all brand communications across various relevant channels.
6. Organize brand events such as product launches, exhibitions, and photoshoots.
7. Act as the 'brand guardian' and maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications.
8. Assist with product development, pricing, and new product launches
9. Assist with depletion planning and sales forecasts.
10. Conduct market research on competitors in order to keep up to date with customer trends, competitor activities, and market forces.
11. Provide regular reports on ongoing campaigns and set objectives.
12. Brief and partner with vendors and agencies to execute the marketing plan.
Requirements
Key Skills/ Experience:
Education: A bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for the position.
Experience: At least 5 years in brand marketing preferably working in the position of a Brand Marketing Manager in a fast-paced and highly competitive business environment; Proven and successful experience working with a team on a high-value business project, where he/she portrayed successful project management and time management skills. Proven ability to deliver projects from conceptualization to completion on time and even exceeding projected results; Proficiency in branding strategies and planning; Portray exceptional strategic thinking capabilities as well as interest and capacity for learning strategies and system evaluations.
Ms Office/Software: Proficiency in Ms Word, PowerPoint, and Ms Excel will also be a necessity in the creation of verbally and visually engaging branding materials, reports, and presentations for the department, collaborating personnel, relevant stakeholders, and external partners.
Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills that will be necessary for the conveyance of clear, concise, and unambiguous information down the line and facilitate smooth and efficient execution of duties by junior brand marketing personnel and collaborating personnel.
Interpersonal Skills: Creative and strategic thinker, have the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and meet their deadlines have exceptional problem-solving skills have a positive can-do attitude, work comfortably in a group setting, be proactive, and have a thirst for knowledge, have an ability to deliver results exceeding the anticipated results, and display composure under stress; Possess the ability to influence and manage relationships, establishing long-term and meaningful external connections on behalf of the business.
