Job brief:
Our Client, in the Agribusiness, is seeking an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to join its team. You will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities
1. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
2. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
3. Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
4. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
5. Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
6. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
7. Promote the company’s products/services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
8. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
9. Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
10. Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
11. Recruiting and training new sales staff, assigning specific tasks to other sales staff, and monitoring the team's sales performance.
12. Motivating the sales staff and creating an atmosphere of healthy competition among the staff.
13. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
14. Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
15. Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
16. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
17. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Requirements
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or a similar role.
2. Thorough understanding of business processes and strategy development
3. Proven sales track record.
4. Experience in leading business development team.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
8. Good customer service skills.
9. Ability to build rapport.
10. Time management and planning skills.
11. BSc/BA in business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field
