Job SummaryOn your role as Business Development Officer, you are responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships with already existing and potential clients, you will take lead in the development of new business opportunities that supports Playspread’s overall growth strategy. You will work closely with Sales and Product Management teams to achieve established sales goals and implement business development initiatives that maximize and grow/generate bottom line revenue for the Company.

Responsibilities:

(Sales & Innovation)

·         Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline toward targeted entities to continuously grow the business and generate sales.

·         Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts.

·         Develop and execute strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports the Company’s revenue and profitability targets.

·         Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value of Playspread’s solutions.

·         Developing Insights and understanding the Market and Marketing Dynamics

·         Analysis of Clients product strengths and weakness vis-a-vis competition

·         Strong data analytics of current market trends, market surveys and volume share.

·         Write proposals, provide decision support and reliable research recommendation

·         Conduct project briefings, in charge of product tracking, data collection and reporting research findings which include product testing and internal focus groups

·         Drive acquisition, satisfaction and retention of clients

·         Drive Innovation, Renovation and new product development /launch processes.

(Data Analysis)

·         Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

·         Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.

·         Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.

·         Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Work/Business Contacts:

(Communication)

·         Playspread Management: Liaise with other Playspread’s Executives and senior managers as required.

·         Customers: Ad Hoc meetings with all relevant customers, Partners, Brands, Distributors, etc.

·         Product Team: Liaise with product team in implementing common product lines

·         Finance team: Liaise with finance to drive optimal P&L result.

·         Technology Team: Liaise with tech team, including operations to implement Marketing support requirements and demand planning.

·         Customers: Structured and Ad Hoc meetings with relevant customers.

·         Relevant agencies and authorities.

·         Work with Press, Radio, TV and new media.

Critical Qualifications/Skills/Experience

The Ideal candidate:

·         Must be a Graduate Bsc / HND in Social Sciences or any relevant course

·         Minimum of 5 years in FMCG/Banking/Telco

·         Strong interpersonal skills to build good working relationships across all functions and markets.

·         Strong flare for numbers and very analytical

·         Convincing Personality, good planner, self -starter and committed to results

·         Good communication and presentation skills

·         Commercial acumen, confident, enthusiastic and persuasive.

·         Attention to details/Good Project Management Skills
