We are seeking an experienced benefits coordinator to oversee employee benefits and ensure that they are structured to increase employee retention, engagement and performance. The benefits coordinator will also need to ensure that benefits are properly administered.

Good candidates will have previous experience in a benefits/compensation related role and a degree in human resources or a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees with benefits related questions
  • Verify submitted documents and process reimbursements
  • Ensure that all benefit packages are in compliance with government regulation
  • Develop benefits plans that will encourage employee performance
  • Find and interface with all third party benefit providers
  • Communicated effectively with employees, management and third parties
  • Study surveys and literature to remain up to date about compensation/benefit trends
  • Conduct audits and prepare reports on the success of benefit programs
  • Educate new and existing employees on their benefits package
  • Attend onsite vendor visits

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a related field (HR, business administration, etc.)
  • Previous experience in an employee benefits role
  • Superb communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Knowledge of current labor laws and benefits regulation
  • Good understanding of standard benefits packages
  • Previous experience with benefits administration software
