Our client is an online marketplace that enables digital work physically & virtually. They facilitate seamless transactions between service providers, agencies, and consumers from sourcing to payment in a way that is safe transparent, and cost-effective for all users.
We are looking for a self-motivated and talented Digital Communications Manager to lead the communications department. In this position, you will be in charge of producing high-quality content that engages customers and builds brand recognition.
Your main duties will also include creating informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share our company’s brand, products, and services. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation and organizational skills.
Role Overview
A digital communications manager oversees digital and social marketing initiatives for a company. As a digital communications manager, you develop online strategies that increase company and brand awareness. You make sure that all company communications have consistent messages from blog posts and newsletters to video broadcasts.
A digital communications manager is in charge of promoting an organization's products and goals to the public, either as part of a specific campaign or on a holistic level. Using the latest digital marketing strategies, they can foster brand awareness and loyalty across a wide-reaching audience.
Responsibilities
Digital
- Managing website activities, including copywriting and editing, setting KPIs, and using analytics (including Google Analytics, email marketing tracking) to regularly measure, evaluate and optimize all digital communications activity.
- Design, and implement digital strategy working across the organization.
- Proactively plan creative, compelling, and targeted digital communications activities and campaigns.
- Maintaining and updating our accounts across all major social media platforms.
- Staying informed of upcoming trends and developments within the field of digital communications and reporting to colleagues and line manager.
- Working with sales and tech teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Develop and implement strategic digital marketing plans and forecasts to achieve objectives for website products.
- Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and conference events, implement and organize them efficiently.
- Work effectively with partners, stakeholders, and sponsors.
- Create and maintain relationships with new & existing partners by organizing and developing specific customer & client-relations program.
- Analyzes sales and marketing metrics, and recommends goals and objectives based on research results.
Communications content development
- Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related marketing materials.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare detailed media activity reports.
- Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials.
- Create communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions.
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
Additional
- Manage relevant sections of the communications budget.
- Develop strategic relationships with key teams in Sales & Tech.
- Manage any volunteers and interns, as required.
- Develop effective internal and external customer relationships.
- Participate in cross-departmental projects.
- Ensure staff members are well briefed on key communications issues.
- Enhance communications with users, colleagues and develop an understanding of the needs of users.
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients & partners in a timely manner.
- Championing monthly partner events both online and offline.
- Creating weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for management.
- Must meet financial and activity targets at the end of each month.
Requirements
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or relevant field.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
- Proven track record of success in digital communications or marketing leadership.
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently

Technical skills
- Knowledge of social media, SEO and data analysis.
- Knowledge of digital marketing.
- Knowledge of graphic design and related software skills.
- Google Ads word certified
