Position Summary:
Manage and advise on conformity with standard procurement processes with respect to the procurement of Food & Beverage supplies and equipment for the restaurant and bar.
Liaise closely with the restaurant and bar operations staff on various operational and cost-related issues.
Key Responsibilities: Core responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company’s food and beverage objectives.
2. Provide employees with the tools and environment they need to deliver the company experience.
3. Support the luxury dining experience by maintaining supplies for the food and beverage service as per the menu requirements.
4. Maintain par levels of stock; complete requisition for additional supplies as appropriate.
5. Maintain and research pricing for all purchased goods.
6. Maintain all records needed for accounting.
7. Maintain and manage a list of suppliers and vendors.
8. Ensure that all goods required to run the F&B department are available when necessary.
9. Manage the operations of the purchasing department; train employees on proper goods receiving and storage methods.
10. Keep purchasing and storage areas clean and organized.
11. Handle other such duties as may be deemed fit in the execution of your duties or as assigned by management.
Requirements
Education, Qualification & Experiences
1. BSc. Degree in Business Administration, Hotel or Restaurant Management, Commerce, Accounting and Finance or related courses.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in Procurement Management or a related field such as Finance and Administration.
3. Certification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Shipping and related field would be an added asset.
4. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
5. Sound knowledge of F&B cost controlling.
