Our client an Enterprise Development Company with interests in real estate is looking for an innovative Construction Engineer to lead our team in the design, development, and construction of a huge range of projects from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

1. Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.

2. Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and others).

3. Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.

4. Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs.

5. Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.

6. Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project engineer.

7. Overseeing construction engineering processes.

8. Assess potential risks, materials, and costs.

9. Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

10. Technical supervision of project-designated engineers in the execution of their duty.

11. Lead, oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

12. Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.

13. Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

14. Performing cost calculations and preparing financial projections.

15. Manage budget and procure equipment/materials.

16. Presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior managers.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Construction Engineer.

2. Experience in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.

3. Experienced in the specification, evaluation, and documentation of equipment. 

4. In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations.

5. Experience in residential building constrution is needed.

6. Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.

7. Project management and supervision skills.

8. Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

10. License of a professional engineer.

11. A degree in Civil Engineering.
