The .Net Developer designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software applications and components. Supports and/or installs software applications and components. Works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.

 Role Requirements:

  •  ·         Good experience (2-3 years) in writing bug free code using .Net 4.5 in using C#, Vb.Net, Html, CSS and Java script.
  • ·         Develop Windows/web services/web forms using dot .Net 4.5
  • ·         Experience in writing stored procedures, views and queries in SQL server 2014 
  • ·         Strong experience in structured systems development environment.
  • ·         Experience providing 2nd or 3rd line application support when and where required.
  • ·         Experience in analysing systems in order to understand how to support them.
  • ·         Experience communicating with Business users of all levels through written and verbal communication.
  • ·         Experience working in Agile environment

 RESPONSIBILITIES

 Below are specific responsibilities attached to this role, which will be reviewed from time to time based on your experience and the organization’s scope of operations.

 Build new systems utilizing established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, .NET 4.0,  ASP.NET, VB.NET / SQL Server 2008 / WCF Web Services / WCF Data Services, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#.

o   Create and deliver data-driven reports

o   Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications

o   Enhance and develop new functionalities on our existing systems and software products. Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects

o   Investigate and develop skills in new technologies

o   Must be able to read and interpret technical specifications and test plans

o   Create new and extend existing operational documentation

o   Consult closely with management and occasionally agency staff related to projects and tasks

o   Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems

o   Implement new software and support the Bank’s core banking application.

o   All other responsibilities as assigned.

o   Is required to develop new change requests or fix issues that are in the current application

o   Debug existing code and find a solution to the issue within agreed SLA

o   Work with less supervision and should be able to work in pressure environment where there can be lot of demand from users [for new functionality, support, bug fixes]

o   Should be able to think the best way to implement changes requested by the business and should be able develop a bug free code

o   Support users when situation raises and handle support calls if and when required
