Reports to: Manager - business development, COO

 

Responsibilities:

  • Periodically engage in Market research and product research to identify the key requirements for a new product or a product upgrade.
  • Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with various departments in the company
  • Constantly Ensure a market driven and well thought out product offering, including pricing, placement, and promotion.
  • Regularly Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Provide information for management by preparing periodic short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports, analysis, Develop, measure and track Return On Investments (ROI) of products.
  • Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, marketing, analyse and troubleshoot product issues in a timely fashion.
  • Sharp focus on revenue and margin opportunities that fit the company’s strategy and core competencies.
  • Regularly Communicate new product ideas and concepts to Manager, Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Ensure Coordination in preparing product design documents and specifications and identify the features that can be incorporated.
  • Obtains product market share by working with sales director to develop product sales strategies.
  • Complete product development projects within allotted budgets and timelines.
  • Work with external third parties to develop partnerships and opportunities.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to fulfil the job functions or as assigned

 

Job competencies and capabilities  

  • Experience using product management tools like stage – gate, Agile
  • Results-oriented and good project management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to Write exceptional original material, edit, proofread, and finalize written material. 
  • Ability to Gather and report numerical data and produce statistical reports.
  • Excellent collaborative skill;  
  • Attention to detail; Comfortable working in a loosely structured organization;  
  • Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules;  
  • Be eager to learn;  
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Package
