We are looking to hire a Public Relations (PR) professional who will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive image for our company. In this role, you will organize and oversee PR activities and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media, and the public.
As a PR specialist, you should be an organized and cool-tempered professional who is able to handle a crisis. Our ideal candidate should have a creative mind, excellent communication skills, public speaking, and project management abilities.
Responsibilities
v Evaluate and develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies
v Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. marketing) to ensure that the PR campaigns are aligned with all company strategic goals and relevant plans for growth and new business opportunities and maintain open communication with senior management
v Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts, etc.)
v Prepare and distribute press releases
v Organize PR events and serve as the company’s spokesperson
v Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorship, and advertising
v Address inquiries from the media and other parties
v Track media coverage and follow industry trends
v Help establish crisis strategies and contain any damage
v Prepare and submit PR reports
v Manage PR issues
Requirements
v Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar role
v Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast and print)
v Background in researching, writing and editing publications
v Proficient in MS Office and social media
v Strong communication ability (oral and written)
v Excellent organizational skills
v Ability to work well under pressure
v Creativity and problem-solving aptitude
v Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS)
v BSc/BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field
