We are seeking a qualified retail buyer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and curating goods for resale in a retail environment.

Further, you must take into account customer demand, market trends and budgets when buying for a retail location.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing consumer spending and buying habits
• Take advantage of all vendor promotions and discounts
• Reviewing the performance of current items for sale
• Meeting and negotiating terms with wholesalers and suppliers
• Monitoring sales and inventory within the store
• Work to secure additional rebates, discounts and allowances

Qualifications:

• Sound analytical and judgement skills
• Must be self-motivated
• Experience with retail purchasing
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under tight deadlines
• Solid references
