SALES EXECUTIVE 

Job Description An Abuja based Commodities Trading Company is seeking a Sales Executive professional to join our team and help to build up our business activities. The successful applicant will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

 • Meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s growth.

 • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and recommend prospects for new business opportunities • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects through targeted distribution channels 

• Establishing pricing strategies 

 • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations 

• Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections 

• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results 

• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams 

• Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products 

• Collect and analyse information and prepare data and sales reports 

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS 

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or any relevant discipline 

• At least 3+ years verifiable work experience in sales and marketing within a similar role 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills 

• Knowledge of markets in Abuja and environs. 

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft application tool- MS word, MS excel and power point. 

• Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to pivot with changing priorities. 

 • Exceptional oral and written communication skills including the ability to explain complex information succinctly and effectively 

• Highest degree of integrity and professionalism required
