About the Role

We are looking for a UX Writer to join our product team and help create clear, helpful, and consistent content across our digital experiences. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to shape how our product communicates, ensuring that every word supports usability, accessibility, and our brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and refine user-facing product copy, including:
  • Interface copy (buttons, menus, labels)
  • Error messages, notifications, and alerts
  • Onboarding flows and walkthroughs
  • In-app help, empty states, and tooltips
  • Transactional and product emails
• Collaborate with product designers and UX researchers to understand user needs and translate them into clear, concise content.
• Use data, user feedback, and research insights to test and iterate on content.
• Develop and maintain content standards, voice and tone guidelines, and terminology for the product.
• Ensure that all user-facing copy is inclusive, accessible, and aligned with UX best practices.
• Participate in design critiques and product reviews, advocating for content quality and clarity.
• Partner with marketing, support, and documentation teams to deliver consistent messaging across channels.
• Maintain content systems (e.g., copy docs, content libraries, Figma files) so copy is easy to find, reuse, and update.

Requirements

• [X]+ years of experience as a UX Writer, Product Writer, Content Designer, or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX writing for digital products (web, mobile, or SaaS).
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, brevity, and usability.
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams (design, product, engineering).
• Familiarity with UX and product design processes (wireframes, prototypes, user flows, research).
• Ability to handle feedback, iterate quickly, and manage multiple projects at once.
• Comfortable using design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Jira, Notion, Google Workspace).
• Proficiency in English (or primary product language) with strong attention to detail and grammar.

Nice to Have

• Experience with design systems and content guidelines.
• Background in user research, information architecture, or interaction design.
• Experience writing for global audiences and working with localization teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and how they apply to content.
